Our corporate website at www.eyeota.com is designed for our business partners, those seeking information about Eyeota, and also for recruiting new employees. This privacy policy explains who we are, how we collect, share and use personal information about you when you use our website, and how you can exercise your privacy rights. This policy only relates to our website www.eyeota.com and the data that is collected from data subjects via the Website, from our customer and prospective customers and otherwise in the course of Eyeota's business operations (the "Business Data").

Eyeota is an audience technology platform. We and our partners collect and use data to ensure that the advertising you see is relevant. Our technology uses aggregated data to map information and devices together so we can create a broad picture of groups of individuals and their preferences. Business Data collected from eyeota.com is not used or combined with our Platform Data.

1. Personal Data provided voluntarily on eyeota.com.

Certain parts of our Website may allow you to provide personal information voluntarily. Such information includes:

  • Registering to download a research paper
  • Submitting enquiries to Eyeota
  • Completing the form in the Contact Us portion of the website
  • Subscribing to marketing communications from Eyeota
  • Applying for an open position to work at Eyeota

  • If you choose to receive marketing communications from us, you have the right to opt-out at any time by clicking on the "unsubscribe" link in the marketing e-mails we send you. Please allow up to 72 hours for your contact details to be removed from our database. Please note, if you do decide to opt-out and you or your business have a contractual agreement with Eyeota regarding the provision of products or services, we may still be required to send you emails in regards to these services and to support our contractual obligations. 
  • If we have collected and processed your personal information with your consent, then you can withdraw your consent at any time. Withdrawing your consent will not affect the lawfulness of any processing we conducted prior to your withdrawal, nor will it affect the processing of your personal information conducted in reliance on lawful processing grounds other than consent.

Legal Basis for Processing Personal Information

Eyeota will collect Personal Data from you only when:

If we collect and use your personal information in relation to our legitimate interests (or those of any third party), this interest will normally be to operate our platform and communicate with you as necessary to provide our services to you and for our legitimate commercial interest, for instance, when responding to your queries, improving our platform, undertaking marketing, or for the purposes of detecting or preventing illegal activities.

How long do you keep Business Data for?

We retain Business Data for as long as we have an active relationship with our partners unless otherwise specified, or until it is deleted following a request from the subject of the data. 

When we have no ongoing legitimate business need to process your personal information, we will either delete it when it reaches a maximum storage time limit (currently 13-months after the last interaction with a data subject) or anonymize it.

Sharing of Business Data

As part of operating our business, Eyeota may share Business Data with authorized employees, affiliates, subsidiaries, vendors, or other third parties to perform services on our behalf that are related to the purposes stated in this privacy policy. Such purposes include:

  • We may disclose Personal Data to Eyeota companies, third-party services providers and partners who provide data processing services to us (for example, to support the delivery of, provide functionality on, or help to enhance the security of our Website), or who otherwise process personal information for purposes that are described in this Privacy Notice or notified to you when we collect your personal information.

International Transfer of Business Data

Specifically, third-party service providers and partners may provide their services out of other countries.

In order to deliver appropriate safeguards to require that your personal information will remain protected in accordance with this Privacy Notice, we operate under European Commission's Standard Contractual Clauses for transfers of personal information between our group companies, which require all group companies to protect the personal information they process from the EEA in accordance with European Union data protection law.

Our Standard Contractual Clauses can be provided on request. We have implemented similar appropriate safeguards with our third-party service providers and partners and further details can be provided upon request.
